Do you have a closet full of shoes you just don't know what to do with them all? Or how about all those shoes your kids outgrow so fast that still look almost new! You don't want to just throw them away, and sometimes if it looks that nice, it's hard to simply donate it. Why not try to get some of your money back by selling it online? I came across If the Shoe Doesn't Fit through Business 2 Blogger and was quite excited by what I found. "If the Shoe Doesn't Fit" is a site dedicated to helping you list, auction off and sell you extra or unused shoes, so you can clear out your closet for all the new shoes you will see and fall in love with!
At "If the Shoe Doesn't Fit" you can do three things.
- Shop! The site is dedicated solely to shoes and shoe accessories, so you don't have to sift through pages and pages of unrelated items when you are looking solely for shoes. Much easier than other auction sites. It is free to look and free to bid, and NO membership required.
- Sell! You can easily sell your new or gently used shoes! It is affordable to sell and easy to do! It is just $1 per listing or fixed rate final value fees. There are no hidden fees and No memberships required.
- Swap! Yes, you heard right! You can even swap shoes for FREE! It is free to list shoes for a swap.
The Great thing about "If the Shoe Doesn't Fit", is that they have shoes for all ages, sizes and styles! You can list your children's shoes for sale as they grow out of them, or you can offer to swap with someone for the next size up! Again, there are no fees to list Swaps; only for selling, which is a very moderately priced fee.
I've had the chance to browse the site and I've found quite a few absolutely adorable shoes! Sadly…or maybe I should say, thankfully, they weren't in my size. haha! They'd be quite a temptation if they were. The site is easy to navigate, and it will have you drooling in no time. You can find shoes from infant-toddler-children, to Mens, boots, athletic, heels and pumps, slippers, sandals and so much more!
And while you are waiting for your auction items to close and your chance to win; they even have a fun game called "Shoe Swap Game". It's a lot like Bejeweled where you switch shoes and try to line 3 up in a row. It's quite fun, I spent a good 30 minutes trying to beat my fastest speed.
One thing I would change with the website, is the option to choose what types of listings you want included in your search or browsing options. For example; if you wanted to only see brand new items from the registered Store fronts; then having that as an option to narrow down your search. Or if you only wanted to see items from regular individuals who are not operating a storefront, to be able to limit your search results to only include those items.
I encourage you to take a minute and visit If the Shoe Doesn't Fit. If you like what you see and want to get started, they have quite a few options for discounts for new registers.
If you want to give it a try with just a few items you can use the special code "B2B" for 5 free listings and list shoes for sale!
If you want to run a business you can use the Coupon code: " TRIAL " for a 120 day free storefront with unlimited listings.
You can follow If the Shoe Doesn't fit on Facebook, Twitter, and on their Blog.
