Well… yes, I had a phone disaster, but not the way you think :-) When my son was 3, he proudly came into the kitchen and told me that he had learned in school how to call 9-1-1 and that he had just done it. I freaked out, listening for the sirens and trying to figure out what I was supposed to do next. Nobody ever came, so I figured he had dialed wrong…. but then a few weeks later at the pre-school’s open house, I found out that they were supposed to practice calling 9-1-1 – but NOT with a phone! So apparently, that’s what he had done!

YES, every family in America that has small children should have this!

Oh goodness, I would have been in panic mode!! lol. thankfully when my kids were learning about safety calling, we were in Europe..there was no 9-1-1. I didn’t have to worry about that issue then. Now i have to worry about it, but my boys are older now and can understand the difference as to when they can and can’t actually make the call.

No I haven’t but most other members in my family have. Yes this would be wonderful for a person with a smart phone to have. Especially since I have watched my niece use her parents smart phones and she knows more about the phone than her mother does

When my niece was little she somehow managed to call Mexico from my cell phone! So I called and turned off the ability to make international calls from my cell phone.

Great app, I could’ve used it when my daughter ran up game/music download charges of nearly $100! That was the end of letting her use my phone while I read. thankfully the company understood and erased the charges as a one time favor-but that was lucky!

Not personally – but I have been in the presence of many a Mom during or after a kid related – or – caused phone disaster and it strikes me as the kind of thing that is inevitable when kids and phones are combined…

So yes – I think this App bound to come in handy to help prevent and/or minimize a lot of aggravation!

I have not had any kid phone disasters yet! My daughter has posted pictures to facebook in the past but thankfully most of them were just of her face super close up.. nothing I’d call a disaster. Now that I say that it will probably happen though lol. I do think it would be helpful.

I’ve never had one because I don’t have kids, but I can see it would be useful. Lots of the apps I use allow you to purchase virtual stuff with real $$ i can see a kid buying a lot!
