Mia Mariu offers natural beauty for eyes

I have been in need of some quality eye shadow in natural colors for quite a while; and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for in the Mineral Eye Shadow Duo Romance de Otoño.

The eye shadows come in a two pack; one lighter than the other and both still neutral enough to look great on anyone. They also come with a nice eye shadow applicator. Normally I hate these little eye shadow applicators; and prefer to use a brush, but one day while in a hurry, I used it. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the applicator worked. I especially like the angled design of the smaller end as it works well for a more precise application. 

The colors went on smoothly and were very easy to blend. They gave a natural look that still complimented my appearance. I started with the lighter color on the base of the eyelid and used the darker color to accent the crease and outer edge. If you begin with a great eye primer the eye shadow will last about 12-14 hours too! Yes, I've tested this. Without a primer, I still had the Mia Mariu eye shadow on my eyes after 9 hours of daily life, although it was not as crisp as it was after 6 hours of wear. 

The one eye product I'm most excited about discovering from Mia Mariu is their mineral mascara. I have developed very sensitive eyes and many mascara products really irritate my eyes and I can usually only wear them for a maximum of 4-6 hours depending on the brand and quality of the formula. So when I learned that Mia Mariu also offered a natural mascara option I had to give it a try!

The brush is full of soft bristles that help apply the Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara in Black to each and every lash. The design of the brush offers a smooth application without clumping and it truly does lengthen the appearance of the lashes. 

I can wear the mascara all day long without any eye irritation or flaking of the mascara. I have to say I'm completely sold on this mascara and it is definitely one of my favorite beauty products!

I was also very surprised that there were such things as mineral makeup for lips! Who would have thought you could have luscious lips with natural products? 

The Intense Lip Liner Canela in Plum is a brilliant color to give a natural color look to one's lips. I used it to outline my lips before applying the Hydrating Stick Gloss Seducción. It offered a quality lip lining but didn't over power my lipstick looking as though I drew on my lips. 

The Hydrating Stick Gloss is a revolutionary hydrating product combining color and hydrating gloss in a stick form.  It contains Vitamins A, C and E  which nourishes your lips as well as minerals and anti-oxidants to protect your lips.

It features a vibrant color and a buttery, creamy feel that provides satin softness and long wear without feathering. It truly did offer more moisture than any other lipstick I've tried. For once I didn't feel like I needed to apply lip balm after I applied lipstick!

The hydrating lipstick remained vibrant with it's color for hours after application. Of course it did rub off while eating, drinking and kissing my baby girl. I do wish it would be a no "budge" lipstick; but I'm still quite thrilled with the hydrating feature and that my lips looked subtle and luscious the entire time I was wearing the lipstick. I loved that the lipstick didn't bring to notice any lip creases, cracked lips or pealing skin, but smoothed those features and gave a nice glossy finishing touch without looking over the top.
