She sat smiling, Oohing and ahhing the different fairies through the movie and then the squeals erupted when I gave her the new Jakks Disney Fairies Secret of the Wings toys! Inspired by the movie, JAKKS Pacific has developed a magical line of dolls, dress up and role play items that truly brings the movie to life.

Have you seen the newest Disney Fairies Secret of the Wings? In Tink’s latest adventure, she visits the forbidden and mysterious Winter Woods where her wings begin to magically sparkle. It’s only after she meets Periwinkle, a beautiful Frost Fairy, that she uncovers the truth behind the glow…they are long lost twin sisters!
I've always been a fan of fairies, the beauty, intrigue, magic and glitter. It's a fantasy world that I think most girls are drawn to. So it's no surprise to me how quickly Jade took to the Disney fairies and the new toys that they created.
They have many different toys for the new released Disney fairies movie, but for us we got to try out the fairy wings and the Tink & Periwinkle's light up surprise. I have to say after multiple days of these all being the highlight of Jade's play time, I would say they would make excellent gifts this Holiday season!
Disneys Fairies light up fairy toy provides hours of fun
The Tink and Periwinkle's light up surprise toy comes with both Tinkerbell and Periwinkle dolls. Each doll has two outfit looks and with glittery wings. They stand a few inches tall and are rather cute.
It also comes with a base that you can attach the dolls to that lights up when the button is pushed. It makes magical sounds and lets you see a reenactment of the magical moment in the movie "Secret of the Wings" when the girls pair their wings in the magical moment of sisterhood.
Jade loves to put the dolls together and turn the lights and sounds on. She also uses the Disney Fairies to act out scenes from the movie. She loves making them fly around the house and talk to each other. You know, typical little girl play. She has managed to stay enthralled with the SOTW set and has yet to tire of them.

What little girl doesn't love to play dress up? The Disney Fairies wings are the perfect accessory for little girls that love to play dress up! They are easy to put on and leave your little girl feeling like a fairy princess. They have a thicker plastic edging that helps to keep them from being bent out of shape as easily and the wings themselves are a shimmery fabric.
The center of the wings contains the magical box that when pushed lights up the wings! They even change colors just like those fun LED Christmas trees that slowly transitions between different colors. These wings also go through six different colors and they add whimsical designs in the wings that aren't as noticeable when the lights are off. And then they automatically turn off after a few minutes, so you won't have to worry about constantly changing the batteries because a child forgot to turn the wings off.
These wings were the perfect addition for Jade's Halloween costume! Sure, the costume came with wings themselves but really, these Disney Fairies wings are much cuter! And with the lights on, they make her much more noticeable in the dark. That is a big bonus for this mama! But mostly, they make my little girl look stunning for Halloween! And much to my surprise she actually loved wearing them! She didn't fuss with the shoulder straps and they stayed put even with her running around being a toddler.
The Disney Fairies wings are not only adorable, but they encourage a little girl's imagination and creative nature. She can feel adorable, precious and magical. She can pretend to be her favorite fairies from the movies. And she can just be adorable for portrait pictures! The wings are the perfect addition to any girls dress up wardrobe! It doesn't have to just be for Halloween! My daughter loves to wear these all day, every day!
We have already attended one Halloween carnival with these wings; and Jade was the envy of all the little girls! They absolutely loved her light up wings! The moms all asked where I got such adorable wings. Now I'm quite excited to take my little Disney Fairies princess out on Halloween with her wings alight and hear all the exclamations of how adorable they are!
