As a mom, education for my kids is very important. I want to ensure that my kids have all the resources they need in their education. With low funding for our children's education one of the ways we can help our schools is by collecting and donating box tops for education to our schools. I never used to cut, save and donate box tops for education, it always seemed like such a hassle. But after we moved to Idaho, I learned just how much it really does help a school when all the parents contribute. I was amazed at just how much our school was able to earn by all the parents donating box tops for education. Now I'm hunting down products with box tops on them so we can send them to school to ensure my kids have everything they need to ensure their learning experience is the best they can possibly have!

Each product usually have one or two questions about the product itself. Then offers a final question suggesting another box top for education product you can interact with next.

My only complaint is that the app isn't available on more android phones or even on the Nexus. As it is, we had to use the Husband's iPad in the store tethered to my phone for internet access. It made the program run a little slower than normal due to the tethered network. I'd love to be able to access this app on my own personal phone! I'd definitely use it a lot more. I've asked if they have plans to make the app available for more android devices.
They said it is in the works but they don't have a release date as of yet. I hope it is very soon! I would definitely use this all the time, as I'm buying box tops for education products weekly it would be nice to have the added bonus of extra box tops for my school and cash for me!
To see more of how the app works you can see our entire shopping experience in our Google+ album showcasing our trip, using the app and how to earn extra rewards from it!
Utilizing General Mills and Box Tops for Education Products at home.
It doesn't do you any good to simply play with the app and never utilize the products! Like I said, we use a lot of the Box Tops for Education products in our house! We use the Gogurts and FiberOne granola bars for snacks to send to school with the kids or for after school snacks.
Once I get home from the store, I empty all our granola bars into our school snack bin. This definitely saves a lot of space in my pantry and it allows me to send the box tops to the school sooner as I don't have to wait for the kids to eat all the bars first.
I then cut off the box tops and place them into our envelop so it is ready to go to the school when they request them to be turned in. We have a good supply right now as we've been stocking up over the summer! I can't wait for our school to be ready for us to send them in! My boys are going to be loved by their teachers even more!
Now the kids are coming home! It's time for a snack to tide them over until dinner in a few hours! Let's use another Box Top for Education product!
Add in some fruit and the kids are singing our praises! It's just enough to keep them happy until dinner time, I get happy kids, extra box tops for their education, extra cash in my pocket and every one is happy!
