Welcome to Wordless Wednesday!

Wordless-Wednesday-button

Every Sunday we go to my in-laws house for a big Sunday family dinner. It's one of our favorite free fun activities for kids that we do every week!

It consists of the my In-law parents, 2 brother-in-laws, sister-in-law, my family, and sometimes even some family friends. It's always something we look forward to, and why you rarely ever see us online on Sunday's. It's our Church and family day.

This last Sunday, it was rather hot and humid in our little corner of Idaho. It's normally not as humid as it's been lately. I can tell you we can handle hot dry days, but once you add in the humidity, it becomes unbearable.

So we turned on the homemade sprinkler system very low, and we all soaked our feet in the sprinkle while the kids played with the water. Jade got to borrow a t-shirt from her Auntie so we could keep her Sunday dress clean.

Jade's shirt had troubles staying on, so J. being the good big brother he is, made sure to help keep pulling it back on for Jade.

Sprinklers are great fun for kids on a hot summer day.

Jade is seriously my little fish! She loves water whether in the bath tub, swimming pool or in the sprinklers.

At the end of every Sunday afternoon, the kids also always get spoiled by the grandparents with a bowl of ice cream! Talk about fun memories they are building! Family, fun, water games and ice cream! Sign me up!

Don't forget to link up your own Wordless Wednesday post, and hop around to all the others listed. We love comments too; so feel free to leave us a note! I do read them!  ;)

What are your Free Fun Activities for Kids you've done this summer?

My daughter likes the sprinkler too. Her favorite activity right now – not free but pretty cheap – is bubbles. We bought her a bubble gun that she absolutely adores.

Thank you Amber! I have to give a lot of the credit to my new camera! I could never get photos this clear with my old one. It takes a LOT less time editing pictures with the new camera, as I hardly have to do any editing at all. :)

What an awesome family tradition to spend every Sunday together like that!

I quite love that family tradition. I will be sad once the husband graduates college and we move away and won’t be able to go over every Sunday any more.

That sure beats going to a water park! Great photos, I especially like the last one. His expression is so cool and the editing really makes him stand out. Great job!

Yes, it definitely has been hot and humid lately. A good wetting with a sprinkler will make any kid feel much better.

When my kids were little, we used to visit the fire station. The firemen would let the kids sit in the truck. They loved it!
