It's October and I'm already gearing up for this month's festivities! I've already put up most of our Halloween decorations, but I'm still adding as I find new things. We also have some great Halloween costumes for the kids this year, for which they are all very excited. If you couldn't tell I really enjoy Halloween and all the festivities that come with it. I've been searching in stores and online to find the best places to shop for Halloween paraphernalia and I absolutely love what I've found from Halloween Express.

The 3T Cinderella costume fits Jade absolutely perfectly! It comes with a little slip that fits her waist well, but also has enough stretch to fit a child that wasn't so skinny. The slip really helps to flair out the skirt of the costume, giving it the perfect Princess look.
The bodice features a Cinderella cameo, ruffles, rolled roses and lace. The fabric is very soft and silky just as you'd expect a princess gown to be. And oh, I just love those puff sleeves!
The waist features more details, rolled roses, lace and I'm not sure what those side puffs are called, but they are just like Cinderella's dress in the movie! It is absolutely perfect.
The back features a simple Velcro closure at two different locations. It is just a little tight around the waist getting the dress on and off, but fits perfectly once it is already on. But due to the little tightness at the waist during changing, it also allows for a more closed back which I really like. It doesn't feature a big gap in the back of the costume. If we lived in a warmer climate I'd feel comfortable letting Jade wear just the costume as it is modest enough and doesn't have any gaping holes due to poor costume design. But as we live in a colder climate, Jade will most likely still be wearing a t-shirt and tights underneath just to help keep her warm.
This Cinderella Costume also comes with the matching blue headband, which although is slightly big on Jade, still stays put rather well as long as I can get her to leave it alone.
I am quite happy with the quality of the costume we got from Halloween Express. It is well made, fits perfectly and is absolutely adorable! Exactly what I wanted! And I'm not the only one that is happy with the Cinderella costume, as if you couldn't tell from that adorable smiling face! Jade will be the envy of all the other little girls out trick or treating this Halloween.

I have really gotten into decorating our home just the last two or three years. It's much more fun when you have kids around that get just as excited about the decorations as you do. This is so cute! Ya I think I would be done with Yoda too! Lol I absolutely Love Halloween Express! I also Like Spirit Halloween! This year we went with Spirit, Lat year it was Halloween Express, It was the costumes that the kids wanted that made me change this year. They will be Little Red Riding Hood (2 1/2 year old) & A Minecraft inspired Skeleton with a suction bow & arrow set! We got glow sticks to make them stand out hehe green for my son, for the glowing skeleton effect & red for my daughter’s red riding hood =] and we decorated the door in spider webs & door cover and we have a colorful light up scary skull that drops down and is loud and scary! Saturday we are going to the pumpkin patch for the last added touches of Jack O’ lantern by the front door! We are trick or treating first on Halloween, then we will come back and habd out candy, and enjoy some dry ice effect and orange lights and X-Box 360 fun! This yer is going to be perfect!

More relevant, I really like the Pinup Girl French Kiss Costume. For the price, though, I feel like a lot more should come with it. If I had to pick a costume, I’d definitely go with the Rag Doll, because then all you have to pick up to go with it is the petticoat and some great makeup. Nothing is more disappointing than ordering a costume only to have it arrive and finding out that you still need to get another fifty dollars worth of stuff to complete the look.
If I could spend the money on anything at all, I’d pick up some great stockings and petticoats and hotpants to go with the wide selection of costumes that I already have. I can always use more of those. =)
