We are always on the lookout for fun, engaging and entertaining toys for the kids. When it comes to my boys though I find it hard to find toys that don't cost a lot of money or that require lots of batteries or make a lot of noise. So whenever I find something unique that perks their interest, is cost efficient and doesn't require the ever present burden of replacing batteries I just have to share it with the whole world!
Sidekix are adorable little creatures that allow you to flip, click, kick, zip, stick and much more! Basically Sidekix are two toys in one! They are an adorable little ball with a clip that you can attach to your backpack, belt or anything else that you want to take along with you.
Then you can simply zip open the ball and discover an adorable little animal friend inside. They easily flip out, and are ready for play.
The "ball" folds nicely inside the belly of the animal.
And then you can simply zip it back up.
Not only are they adorable, soft and cuddling, but the small magnets in the feet allow them to attach to each other, fridges, and other surfaces that work well with magnets.
The Sidekix Panda was quickly a favorite in our home, although my boys also dearly want the dragon added to their collection. Of all the kids, J. the 8 year old loved the Sidekix the most, although I do often find Jade playing with Panda too.
Each Sidekix retails for $9.99, and what I love most is that they rely on my children's imagination instead of battery powered! They can provide hours of fun and not cost an additional dime!

I love that they not only have a clip, but are magnetic, so they really can go everywhere with you! My daughter loves stuffed animals of any kind.
I like that the little pets are magnetic. My daughter thinks they’re cute but being 13 and having one on her backpack isn’t “cool” anymore. But since they’re magnetic, she can put it on the inside of her locker at school and still keep her “cool status”lol
