Welcome to Wordless Wednesday!
Last week we took off to get in some last minute vacation Summer activities with kids! We went to the Zoo, Copper Mines and Air Force Museum in Utah. The kids had a blast, it didn't cost much and it was the perfect end to all the summer activities with the kids! Here are a few of our favorite shots.
Jade Loved the Elephants!
The newest addition to the zoo housed a polar bear which was definitely a favorite stop.
We also got to watch the Bird Show which had a lot of birds flying around.
The copper Mines were huge, and the kids loved seeing all the big trucks.
An idea of how big those trucks are..this is one of the tires they use. Each tire costs $25,000 and each truck uses SIX of them!
The Copper mines also have a museum, and they have a large collection of the different rocks they've mined. This is one of my favorites.
The Air Museum had a large air field with lots of planes where you can walk up and touch them.
The air museum also had two extra large hangers with tons of planes from the very first planes to the most current planes. These you can't touch as many of them are the very last surviving plane of their kind.
We even got to see air planes that they still use today! The kids had a blast!

Wow! Looks like so much fun! I grew up in AK and our zoo always had a polar bear, I miss that!

How fun! It’s been too hot down here in Phoenix to do anything! But it is supposed to (fingers crossed) cool down to under 100 in the next couple of days, so we may finally be able to hit the pool!
