Summer is here and I am sick with adenovirus and a sinus infection, not what I had planned for this summer vacation! This summer we had so many things I was excited for, and this sickness is really putting me behind schedule.
I was going to get our Weed patch finally cleaned out. It hasn't happened yet.
But I was able to attend my parent's 50th Wedding anniversary so that was fantastic!
We also have a few more family reunions planned for July, including amazing fourth of July festivities which include amazing food, family, fireworks and the more!
And then more family reunions, and hopefully even a family camp back in Wyoming!
But at this moment, I'm mostly just excited to get over this virus and sinus infection. It has me really laid up. I have some fun tutorials I've had in the works that I haven't been able to work on, as well as new recipes, and some great new products I found the last few weeks, even a few that really helped me while I was sick. But I just haven't been well enough to stay on the computer long enough to write them all up. I'm really pushing it with this "long" article as it is.
But the Doctor started me on antibiotics this afternoon, so I'm hopeful I will be able to return to my regular work week within the next few days and hopefully get all caught up before the mad rush of family arrives the first few days of July.
But when we talk of Summer we really can't forget about all the fun with playing in the sprinklers! We've had some perfect sprinkler days this week and we've all missed them because the kids have been sick too. Although, I must say, we watched some interesting shows together while we've all been laid up with fevers, stomach nausea, and this virus.
But after our last week, I want to hear something more exciting than our bouts with illness, I want to hear your opinions!
What is something you are excited for this summer?
